Covenant House/CHAI Apartments, an award winning facility, provides 433 subsidized apartment units for senior adults and the mobility-impaired. Centrally located on the beautiful 65 acre Millstone Campus, its 3 buildings offer a host of amenities for residents and older adults living in surrounding areas. Its prime location enables tenants to take advantage of programs and services at the nearby JCC and Jewish Federation Building. Community Housing Management Corporation manages the facilities and administers many support services provided by Community Aging Corporation (CAC), a charitable social service agency established to meet the needs of the housing's elderly population.

The Jewish Center for Aged has over a 100-year tradition of providing progressive senior care to the St. Louis Jewish community. A 252-bed facility, the Cedars at the JCA is one of the foremost geriatric care centers in the United States and the only senior care community in the St. Louis metropolitan area that has affiliations with both St. Louis University and Washington University Schools of Medicine.

The facility offers a wide continuum of care:

Long Term Skilled Nursing – for people who have a chronic illness and disability and need complete assistance with activities of daily living (ADL)

Residential Care II – for people who require assistance with activities of daily living such as meal preparation, medication monitoring and personal care.

Special Alzheimer’s Care

Rehabilitation — for people recently discharged from the hospital who need a short-term stay in a facility before going home.

Respite or Short Term Care — for people who need temporary short-term care or oversight.
